Hello, all my fellow Tutorial fellows (?). Maybe some of you can enlighten me. (By the way, I don't know exactly what we're supposed to do for this tutorial question on our blogs, but I just made one and this is my rant.) So, back to what I was saying...maybe some of YOU can enlighten me? I know we have been talking about it for the last couple of months. In lecture, in tutorial...in other classes, too. And I'm thinking I STILL have no clue what postmodernism really is. I know what some of the things associated with it are (like pastiche and appropriation), but everytime I try to find a dictionary definition of sorts, it is way too long to handle or really understand. I'm not good with identifying any type of style in the fine arts (even Expressionism escaped me quite a bit last semester), so if some of you out there have this bit of knowledge that I will probably require in order to pass the final exam, PLEASE pass it on. It shall be much appreciated.
